I have accumulated over 20 years working in and around aerial imagery and GIS. My time started with working on a project that had its beginnings under the direction of the Institute for Technology Development and the NASA Ag 20/20 program. Everyone involved wore numerous hats, so as a pilot I naturally gravitated toward the flying aspects of the project: aerial imagery. I have been entrenched in everything from manually running field boundaries on a 4-wheeler and geo-referencing imagery until 3:00 am to conducting flight operations for hours on end across this great country. These experiences proved instrumental in molding my views and abilities about how to efficiently provide quality aerial imagery. Overseeing a flight department operating numerous aircraft for imagery collection provided me with insight into the scheduling, logistics and timing that go into conducting efficient operations. As a pilot with an Airline Transport Pilot rating and thousands of flight hours, most of which has been in acquiring aerial imagery, I have had plenty of opportunity to fine tune methods and even equipment, towards collecting the imagery needed in the time frame desired. Through the years I have learned to adapt to ever changing circumstances and to look for the efficient routes that best lead to quality work being completed. If you have a need for aerial imagery, feel free to contact me and see if I can adapt to your needs.
